My mom loves to talk about my first haircutting experience. Of how she caught me at 2 years old with a pair of scissors in my hand cutting my bangs to my scalp. And yet some things never change. I have always cut hair, then I went to school for it. I like to say I just fell into this career.
I have worked in NYC for some 10 years, a lady never likes to reveal her age, hehe. But in a place like this, one can evolve, keeping up with new styles.
Personally I love change and changing looks. Never afraid of drastic change, but always respectful of a persons personal style. Also, I respect that people don’t really want to spend time styling their hair. I always try to give an easily styled yet fashionable look.
I have worked with great hairstylists over the years, being trained by Oribe in Miami, and Roberto Novo upon entering NYC. I love to travel and get inspiration for styles from my travels throughout the world. And of course everyone that I have worked with has inspired me.
